šŸš€ Learnster version 30 introduces strategic knowledge alignment, smarter competence management, and powerful AI tools to scale learning impact.

This release helps you connect learning with business goals, empower team managers, and speed up content creation- delivering more value, faster.

Key enhancements:

  • Orchestrator- Align knowledge with business strategy: Introducing Orchestrator, a new tool that connects strategic business objectives with concrete knowledge initiatives. This release marks a first step toward making knowledge management business-driven, making it possible to plan, prioritize, and track progress- ensuring knowledge drives real business outcomes and becomes a core lever for success.

  • AI-Powered Quiz Generation: AI quiz generator is officially available! Create high-quality assessments in seconds based on course content.

  • More system languages in Learnster U: Czech and Slovak are now supported, making learning more accessible across regions.

Orchestrator

Learning only becomes truly business-critical when it’s aligned with strategic goals. Orchestrator facilitates alignment between knowledge and business leaders by empowering admins to define business objectives, link them to relevant knowledge initiatives, and visualize alignment and progress in a shared overview. This release marks a first step toward making knowledge management business-driven, enabling knowledge and business leaders to co-create unified plans that connect strategy to learning and deliver measurable impact across the organization.

With Orchestrator, you can:

  • Define business objectives: specify strategic objectives, prioritize, set target date and connect relevant knowledge initiatives.

  • Manage knowledge initiatives: plan and manage knowledge initiatives and connect them to courses from the LMS.

  • Align and track progress- for each business objective, leaders are now able to get an overview of aligned knowledge initiatives and follow their progress and status.

AI-Powered Quiz Generation

Make learning more engaging with our new AI-powered quiz generation feature. This tool automatically creates interactive quizzes from your course content, helping learners test their knowledge while reducing manual work for L&D teams. By streamlining quiz creation, instructors can focus on designing impactful learning experiences while AI is doing the heavy lifting.

With AI-Powered Quiz Generation, you get:

  • One-Click Quiz Creation: The new AI-powered Quiz generation option in the course editor enables you to create quizzes directly from a course block or the entire course. No more writing questions from scratch, just select your content and let AI do the work.

  • Context-Aware Question Generation: Choose to base the quiz on a specific course block or the full course. The system intelligently pulls relevant material and transforms it into meaningful quizzes.

  • Diverse Question Types: Automatically generate quizzes with a rich mix of formats- single choice, multiple choice, match, yes/no, and open-ended questions- ensuring learners are tested effectively.

Improved Competences management for Team managers

We are making it more intuitive for team managers to assign and follow up on learners’ Competences both in the web and Learnster U app.

Following enhancements have been made:

  • Competences in Learnster U app, Teams view: Team managers are now able to assign and manage Competences for their team in the Learnster U app.

  • Refined learner assignment flow: Quickly assign Competences from the Learners tab, add existing learners, or invite new ones-all from a streamlined interface.

    • Team managers are now able to assign knowledge competences in a intuitive and accessible way from the ā€œAssign knowledgeā€ button in the Learner’s tab.

    • Managers are able to add existing learners or invite new ones from the shared button.

  • Follow up on specific learner’s Competences: View and track Competences from an individual learner’s page.

    • Managers are now able to follow up on Competences from a specific learner’s page, through the Competences tab

    • The progress tracker is also updated to a more minimalistic design making it more intuitive and easy to understand.

    • Managers are able to show progress preview through the ā€œMoreā€ button in the table and see all courses that are contained in a Competence and if the learner has passed it or not.

(Note: This feature will be added into the Learnster U app in upcoming releases.)

  • Improved UX for assignment flow for Competences and Courses- making it easy for Team managers to navigate

    • Introduced ā€œBackā€ button

    • Step indication in the header

    • Confirmation of the assignment

    • ā€œAssign to all team membersā€ is now available also in Competences assignment flow, making it efficient for team managers to bulk assign competences

  • Cleaner Competence overviews: Competence and course descriptions are now truncated for easier scanning, with a ā€œShow moreā€ option to expand details.
