Learnster version 28 introduces enhancements to AI-assisted content creation capabilities, along with improved management of course history for both active and deactivated users.

Key enhancements:

  • Deactivated users in participant reports – Administrators can now configure participant reports to include deactivated users. This functionality supports compliance requirements for businesses that need to maintain complete course history records for both current and former users.

  • Language selection in Content Creation Wizard – The Content Creation Wizard now includes language selection as part of the creation workflow. This change improves output quality and allows for mixed source languages in input materials.

Include deactivated users in Analytics participants report

Administrators can now configure specific participant reports to include deactivated users. This functionality supports compliance scenarios and other use cases requiring complete course history for both current and former users. The setting is applied per report to maintain clarity about what data each report contains.

Available functionality:

  • Configure reports in the Analytics section to include deactivated users for both user and participant reports

  • Use the "Active" column to display user status and create filters when deactivated users are included

User reports previously displayed the "Active" column by default. This column now appears only when the option to include deactivated users is enabled. Existing user reports retain this setting automatically, while new reports require explicit activation of this option, consistent with participant reports.

❗️Include deactivated users is available in Learnster Analytics which is included in the Learnster Core tier. Deactivated users are not visible in other system-wide reports, for example team reports or standalone course reports.

Language selection in Content Creation Wizard

Following the initial release of the Content Creation Wizard, we continue to expand its capabilities to better support diverse content creation needs. In this release, we’re introducing the option to select the desired output language during the course creation flow.

The language selector is now part of the wizard’s guided workflow and offers the following benefits:

  • Generate content in your preferred language, even if the uploaded materials are in a different or mixed language.

  • Streamline localization efforts by allowing course authors to directly produce content in the target language from the start.

This enhancement gives content creators greater control and flexibility, making it easier to scale learning across multiple regions and audiences.
