We’re excited to roll out a new Learnster update for November, packed with upgrades to Orchestrator, AI content creation, and analytics. These enhancements make it easier to demonstrate learning impact, streamline content creation, and gain clearer insights from your data. Here’s what’s new:
Orchestrator – Impact Measurement: A new capability in Orchestrator helps organizations demonstrate the real value of their knowledge initiatives. This first step toward measurable impact introduces tracking of early indicators through Learner Confidence and Learner Sentiment scores, available in actionable dashboards within the Orchestrator Insights section.
Analytics – Smarter Filtering & Completion Insights: Gain better visibility into learning progress with new filters for enrollment method, auto-enrollment, and custom roles. You can now also view completion rates and full learner histories for deeper progress tracking.
Content Creation Wizard – Expanded File Support: Easily import training materials from Word, Excel, PowerPoint (including notes), HTML, and image-based PDFs with enhanced AI-powered file ingestion, making content creation faster and more flexible than ever.
Additional Platform Fixes: Improved role-based permissions, MFA support for the Nelson app, in-platform course import/export, and smarter notification handling - giving admins greater control and security.
ℹ️ The rollout begins on Monday 17th of November. If you have any questions or would like specific details about when your environment will be updated, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager or click here to book a meeting.
Orchestrator enhancements
We’re introducing Impact Measurement - a new module in Orchestrator designed to help organizations demonstrate the true value of knowledge and its impact on business-critical KPIs. Our goal is to make learning measurable across every stage of the journey, from learner reactions to behavioral change and business results. Capture learner sentiment and confidence to track how training supports engagement, behavior, and results- all through new dashboards designed to show real learning impact.
In this release, we’re launching the first stage of Impact Measurement- Learner reactions where we deduce Impact scores by introducing two leading indicators of learning effectiveness:
Learner Sentiment Score - captures learners’ reactions of the learning material throughout the course. Use it to identify engagement trends and spot which materials resonate or need improvement.
Learner Confidence Score - measures how confident learners feel in applying their newly gained knowledge, based on learners' reaction in the end of the course. It reflects early signs of knowledge application readiness and impact potential.
The impact scores are visualized in actionable graphs to follow the scores for each initiative over time, while the stacked graphs also let you see how individual courses contribute to overall learning impact - giving L&D teams a powerful, data-driven foundation to connect learning with real business outcomes. You can find the new visual dashboards of the Impact scores in the Insights section of Orchestrator.
