Updated yesterday

We're releasing another Learnster update with improvements designed to give you deeper learning impact insights, more control over your content and a more connected learning ecosystem.

Here's what's new:

  • Accidentally deleted a course? A new "Deleted" filter in Studio lets you find and restore deleted courses directly from the Studio UI.

📅 Rollout starts on Tuesday, 14th of April. If you have any questions or would like specific details about when your environment will be updated, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.

Orchestrator – Impact Pulses for initiative owners and learners

We're continuing to build out Orchestrator's Impact measurement capabilities. With Impact Pulses, you can now send structured pulse surveys directly to initiative owners and learners to capture feedback on the real-world impact of your knowledge initiatives.

This allows L&D teams to:

  • Gather qualitative and quantitative signals about how initiatives are translating into behavioral change- did learners apply knowledge in the real world?

  • Close the loop between planned learning objectives and actual business outcomes - did the

  • Follow up with targeted groups to understand what's working and what needs adjustment

Impact Pulses extend the Learner Sentiment and Confidence Scores introduced in v33 (Read more here) with actionable follow-up data — giving you a more complete picture of knowledge impact across your organization.

ℹ️ Orchestrator is available for Core-plan clients. Reach out to your Customer Success Manager to get started.

Orchestrator Initiatives – Create and access initiative details from Objective view

Navigation between Objectives and Initiatives just got smoother. You can now create new initiatives and access initiative detail pages directly from within the Objective view, without having to navigate away.

This makes it easier to:

  • Quickly link new initiatives to the right objectives during planning

  • Review and update initiative details while keeping the strategic context in view

  • Reduce the back-and-forth between different sections of Orchestrator

How it works:

If you navigate to the "Objective" tab and create a new objective, or you are modifying existing objective, you now have the option to "Create new" or "Link existing" Knowledge Initiative through the split button called "Add initiative" (see below screenshot).

To access Initiative details page through the Objective view, click on the initiative, and through the side bar click on the "Go to initiative" button to access the Initiative page (see below screenshot).

ℹ️ Orchestrator is available for Core-plan clients. Reach out to your Customer Success Manager to get started.

LinkedIn Learning Connector real-time progress sync

Building on the LinkedIn Learning connector, we're now enabling xAPI-based progress tracking. Learner progress is automatically synced back to Learnster in near real-time — within 1 hour of activity in LinkedIn Learning.

This means L&D admins get full visibility into LinkedIn Learning completion and engagement directly within Learnster, alongside all other learning activity — no manual updates needed.

ℹ️ Your organization needs active LinkedIn Learning licenses to enable LinkedIn Learning Connector. Contact your Customer Success Manager to get this functionality in your vendor.

Studio – Restore deleted courses

We've added a new safety net for content management: the ability to restore deleted courses directly from Studio. If a course was accidentally deleted, admins no longer need to contact support to recover it. Admins and all roles with "Manage course content" edit permissions will have ability to restore deleted courses.

How it works:

  • In Studio under Courses, use the new "Deleted" filter to view all deleted courses

  • Click the "..." menu on any deleted course to reveal the Restore option

  • The course is instantly restored and available in your "All courses" category again.

ℹ️ This functionality is available for all users.

Delete Course History for users directly from User card

Admins can now delete course history records for individual users directly from the User card in Studio. With this update, you have full control to manage learner records independently.

This is useful for:

  • Correcting accidental course completions or enrollments

  • Managing learner data in line with internal data governance policies

  • Supporting edge cases where a learner's history needs to be reset

How it works:

Navigate to Studio -> Users -> Select a user and navigate to Courses tab. In the "Completed" section you will see the completed Learnster course, and if you navigate to a specific course a "..." button will reveal with options to Edit or Remove (see below screenshot).

ℹ️ This functionality is available for all users.

📅 Rollout starts Tuesday, 14th of April.
